3t is currently looking to recruit a Funded Learning Account Manager on a permanent contract located in Newcastle, UK.

3t Training Services is the UK’s largest and leading provider of training for the oil and gas, wind, and power industries, and a major player globally, whilst also making a significant impact on the wider and utilities sectors including gas, electric, and water.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling courses for our funded learners. This includes initial enquiries regarding advising which programme someone should take, through to planning a schedule of courses and chasing up / rebooking when someone no-shows or date-changes. This could be direct with the individual delegate, or via a clients’ training team.

3t Training has secured funding through a number of channels including Skills Bootcamps (known internally as Greenskills), ELCAS funding for military service leavers, and through direct funding awards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advising self-funders on suitable packages depending on funding criteria and eligibility and their preferred career direction
  • Working with our clients where they are referring delegates to us
  • Ensure timely responses to all enquiries and booking requests
  • Work to enrol learners onto programmes in sufficient numbers to draw down all the funding available
  • Be a point of contact for new enquiries, this includes revisiting old enquiries to ask if people would like to join current programmes, supporting inductions and careers events.
  • Using 3tx by correctly adding new delegates and their programmes. Booking courses against ‘gaps’ and ensuring completion of each package of training
  • Ensure all bookings made for revenue tracking are correctly added to Vision to enable invoicing of the appropriate funding body.

Reporting:

  • You will be required to ensure 3tx and our trackers are kept up to date as this drives much of the reporting in the funding team.
  • In addition, you will be expected to have an awareness of how much funding is remaining in each funding pot, based on how many learners have started programmes.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Less than 20% of on-programme learners to have gaps that aren’t scheduled at any one time. Decreasing to 10% for established funding streams.
  • New starts onboarded in-line with delivery plans (as specified for each funding body)
  • Monthly campaign to employers with current funding availability
  • Schedule and invite learners to a fortnightly induction session for each location
