GTSC part of 3t, Reinforces Commitment To Upskilling Workers Through New Accreditation

GTSC, part of 3t, the industry leader in the provision of safety-critical training for high-hazard industries, has further strengthened in the Middle East by announcing new accredited training courses across the region, expanding its course catalogue.

This will include an enhanced range of courses for workers in high-hazard industries with training that has been accredited by OPITO, the global skills body for the energy sector. These courses include; the OPITO Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Initial Training (Twin Fall), OPITO Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Further Training (Twin Fall) and OPITO Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Supplementary Fall Training (Twin Fall).

In addition, GTSC’s new offering also now includes IADC-DIT H2S training which is a Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) Safety Training program. It is accredited by the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) under their Drilling Industry Training (DIT) scheme. This training is designed to ensure that workers in industries such as oil and gas, drilling, and offshore operations are properly educated and equipped to safely handle the risks associated with H₂S exposure.

GTSC will also be offering courses for workers in the catering industry that have been accredited by Highfield, a prominent awarding organization for industries including catering and hospitality. The eight courses range from a variety of levels and subjects including Food Safety for Catering and Manufacturing.

This expanded training offering follows 3t’s recent acquisition of GTSC in September, acquiring its three training centers located in Abu Dhabi, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, significantly enhancing its presence across the Middle East.

This strategic combination leverages GTSC’s comprehensive, industry-accredited training capabilities with 3t’s cutting-edge training technologies, including immersive digital learning platforms, virtual reality simulations, and advanced safety compliance solutions. Together, these resources position 3t to

deliver unparalleled technical training, offshore survival, HSE, and digital safety solutions that meet the critical safety needs of the region’s energy sector.
